DH has a cousin who is about 10 years older than us and he and his wife have 4 kids. His wife told me this story about their 7 year old son I'll call Logan:
Logan held the library door open for a little girl named Sophie at school. As she walked through Sophie said, "Thank you cupcake!" Logan was not happy about having a girl call him "cupcake" so he wrote this letter to their teacher:
Dear Mrs. Smith,
Today after library Sophie called me Cupcake. It grossed me out. I am no one's cupcake. Not even my mom's. Please make sure Sophie never calls me Cupcake ever again.
Sincerely,
Logan.
Haha! How stinkin' cute is that!? Mrs. Smith showed the note to DH's cousin's wife and she is keeping it in a memory box for him.
Anyone else got a cute kid story?

Heading to China in November 2014 to bring our son home!
DS is very active and enjoys playing with our dog, Django. Django enjoys playing less frequently than E because E is so... physical.
E has recently taken to hugging, which terrifies Django because he lays his whole toddler body on our 16 pound dog.
It usually plays out something like: Ezra sees Django lying on the floor (probably asleep), his face lights up, he runs toward Django, falls almost on top of him, and plunks his head on his abdomen. Django starts with a look of terror on his poor doggy face, and then realizes what is happening, and endures it. Ezra tries to hug him a couple more times until Django can finally get out from under him.
My dog is long-suffering...

Haha you should ask her to teach you and see what she says. I bet she will have candy for dinner and a super late bed time.
