Nickname for Lotus?

My grandfather's name is Lotus and my husband and I are considering using it as a first name if we have a girl. Can anyone think of a nickname though? I've come up with Lulu and Lo but I'm not sure how I feel about them. Any ideas or opinions would be welcome!

Maybe Lottie?  Or just call her Lotus and don't give her a nickname?  I've never had a nickname, unless you count Dee, which only my DH and MIL have ever called me.

What is the middle name you plan to use? And the first letter of your last name? You can always come up with a nn that way.

I think Lottie when I consider the first three letters of the name.

Loie, pronounced Low-ee. As in Loie Fuller- she was a famous French dancer.

I was going to say Loti (pronounced Low-tee) until I realized I saw a commercial earlier today for a testosterone supplement for old men called LowT. Eek!

Thanks ladies! I like Loie, I hadn't thought of that one. No, we will not be using anything named after a testosterone supplement! Haha. Lo is cute too. We shall see! Might just see what nickname comes naturally.
