weekend getaway with 2 month old?

DH and I are thinking about going away for a couple days, just the 3 of us, before I go back to work.  LO is 2 months old.  Is this a bad idea?  She sleeps well at night, usually only getting up once.  Initially I was thinking Virginia Beach but the beach with a LO doesn't make sense.  now I'm thinking Philadelphia since I've never been.  I figure I can carry her in a carrier rather than a stroller if the streets are too difficult to maneuver with a stroller. 

What do you think?  Any other location suggestions?
