growth spurt

So DS is 6 weeks old today and I think we are headed into another growth spurt. Its hard to believe he is growing again, we're already 13lbs and so long that we've just about out grown all his 0-3 month clothing. Anyway for the past 2 days during the day all he has wanted is to be held and cuddled. He is sleeping fine at night but wants to be fed every 2 hours instead of 3. Anyone else's LO get like thisbefore a growth spurt?
