Insanity on Parenting--question about security

Hi guys,

I lurk mostly these days because I don't like to post from my phone.  However, I've had more access to my laptop, so I've been posting more.

I didn't want to post this over there, and I know that some of you girls hang out there sometimes (Sarah, Scout).  Can someone explain what happened to Wonka and Venus and CG?  I mean, I get that an AE posted their personal info, but how did they get it?? 

Also, how do any of the girls think that they've identified the AEs?  Like, how would they know?

I guess what I'm after is that I try my best to be relatively anonymous here, although if someone I knew IRL read my posts, they'd probably spot me.  Is there some way that some freak is going to get my info??

Im pretty sure they got it from their blogs, and they havnt identified any unless they come forward, are one of the same, have insane computer programs that do ip seaches (they dont) they dont know. The only way they knew about CM is because she used the same photobucket account for all the AE accounts and if you right click any pictures and go to properties it will give you a link and those were all the same from the one account. Unless you have a link to your blog, fb, twitter etc or tell someone your info and if your profile is on private they wont get your info. Although if you talk to a regular through PM's they could always be a crazy AE and post stuff about you. All you need to do is not have personal things up or said. HTH
