Hi all! So here's my question: My husband and I just recently found out that we will be expecting our second child (YAY!!!) and that it is going to be a girl. We do already have a son who is 16 months old. I was wondering if it was "P.C." to have a second baby shower. My husband's sister has already approached me about hosting one, but we were both at a loss as to whether or not it is right to have a baby shower for each baby.

Thanks for the help!!!
Re: Second baby--do you have a shower?
Harper Jane 11/19/11 5lb 15 oz 20 inches... perfection
Better question for the Baby Shower board...but they can be brutal, so tread lightly. I would say no for the second shower, if you just had a kid 16 months ago I think it's safe to say you can reuse all of the items that he had. Outside of clothes everything should still be good. I would tell your SIL that a meet the baby party or a small dinner would be best, but no games, or registry....people start to feel used after a while.
BUT...you can still register for stuff you want for kid #2, get the coupons from registering and the completion coupons and save some bucks. Kid #2 will still need diapers, etc.
