Smh.....any 39 weekers with no change

I went for my 39 week check up today an no change, dilation or anything, i have been have bh's, leg cramps, i walk everyday i dont know what to do apparently i go on wednesday to talk to the doctor that is suppose to be delivering me the lady said he might dicuss induction! i am really tired and ready for my little monkey!Big Smile

    Right there with you on all counts... sigh. I can't believe I am considering induction but I don't know if I can take the discomfort and the wait!!! GL!

    Same here!

    They think he's getting too big and are doing a growth u/s at 40 weeks on next friday. Im terrified that means induction or c-section but if Im still pregnant by next friday Im sure I'll be singiing a different tune and ready to get it over with!

    I went from nothing at my 38 week appt to my cervix is softening at my 39 week appt today. No thinning, no dialation, no efacement, no nothing. I was told we would start talking inducing if I don't go by 7/23 (I'm due on 7/20).

    My OB didn't see me last week, so I have no idea. But no change doesn't mean anything. Some women go into labor pretty fast. I think I am going to decline checks so I can live under the assumption I am almost there every visit I have until he comes.

    I am hoping that when I go in on monday I am past 5 cm so I can go to the hospital.  If not we get induced on Wednesday.

    Same here! My cervix has been closed for four weeks now. At my 38 wks 6 days checkup, an induction was scheduled on my due date bc of my "unfavorable cervix" and GD. Hopefully I will miraculously go into labor before Thursday! Good luck, ladies!

    My OB had no appt. available this week so I don't get one until Monday. I figure it gave me 4 extra days to dilate more :) My 2 internals (at 37 and 38 weeks exactly) I was 1cm. He's never said anything about effacement so I'm going to ask him on Monday.
