I think you would be giving your child a lifetime of correcting people's spelling and pronunciation. I can usually figure them out, but these two have me stumped.
I'm not a big fan of the name, but if you live in the U.S. I'd go with Clotilda. If you're in a French-speaking country, Clothilde would be my choice. Either would be pretty obscure in the States, but Clotilda has the most obvious pronunciation and would probably save her a bit of grief.

I think people will have no idea how to pronounce this.. and Im sorry but it immediately makes me think of something chemical or poisonous! not pretty to me at all What about Tilda?

Are these legit names? The first one looks like a disease and the second a chemical. I'd shorten it to Hilda, although that's not my fave either.
How would you say those? They don't look very pretty written down. I might go with Tilda.
