So MIL really wants to buy our crib for us and I would like to get it purchased and done with sooner rather than later but we can't seem to find any cribs we like!
So I was wondering if any STMs or anyone that already bought theirs could give me some ideas on where to look. We've already looked at Target and BRU but weren't too thrilled with anything there.
Looking for something that isn't terribly expensive because I would feel rude asking her to buy something outrageous. TIA!

Re: Cribs
We've been meaning to go to Ikea, cause we have one right by us. I was looking online and there is one I do like from there but DH isn't completely onboard and worries that it might be cheap. Did they seem sturdy when you looked at them? We'll have to go this weekend!
Ikea is fantastic. They have some really well-made stuff! I think most people consider them as being "cheap" because of their prices, when in reality, they're cheap cause 1) they're smaller than most furniture and 2) built in other countries and shipped directly through the company and stuff so that it's cheaper to buy. And they do things to cut their costs at the stores so we, as customers pay less.
That being said, I've never heard any complaints on IKEA furniture. My friends have a crib from there and love it.
Oh don't get me wrong we love Ikea haha we own tons of furniture from them and most of it is great but there have been a couple pieces we've got in the past that weren't the greatest of quality (like paint chipping off easily and what not).
But that's good to hear that people like them, we'll definitely go check it out. Thanks!
This one is recommended in the baby bargains book. It is $400 from JCP. Bedford Baby Tribeca.

Ooh, I really like this one, great price too!!
I absolutely love the way they look..I personally did not want to spend over $400 total so the new sale price is even better!
Ikea. We purchase a lot of our furniture from them including our couches, coffee table, our platform bed, and DS's toddler bed.
They make really durable furniture and their cribs are priced fairly. They aren't fancy and are contemporary/modern looking. So if you're into that kind of thing, I'd look there.

For DS we got the Bonavita Peyton Lifestyle Crib, and we have been very happy.

For DD, we didn't want to spend as much and since DS was only 15 months old, we needed to buy a second one. They shared a room, so we wanted one that kind of matched...so we got the Koala Home Taylor Lifetime Crib at BRU (can't find a link to that one, not sure if they still make it? It was only 2 years ago!).
We liked both of them, and the Koala Home one was much cheaper!!
We bought the Graco Lauren Signature crib. Very reasonably priced.
Dont remember exactly the amount but it was under $200.
