Please rec any ADHD books...

I would like to get as much information as I can about ADHD to help myself, my DH and my DS.  I'm looking for something with ideas/suggestions on a calmer environment, setting up expectations (for us and for DS), reward systems, etc.  Anything you can suggest?

Thx

  • I'll second Driven to Distraction and Delivered from Distraction. They definitely give a "this doesn't have to be a horrible thing" vibe.

  • I thought this book was a helpful general guide to ADHD.  It helped to confirm some of what I already knew and taught me some new coping techniques.

Taking Charge of ADHD: The Complete, Authoritative Guide for Parents (Revised Edition) [Paperback]

  • What age is your child? Different books are geared towards parents of kids from different age groups. In general, Russell Barkley is "god" when it comes to ADHD
