How do I teach my dog to stop jumping?
I'm afraid he's going to hurt Abigail if I don't teach him to behave properly around people, especially of the tiny variety.
I'm googling it also, but I need stories, yall!!

But for serious, we trained ours by ignoring him until he sat still. Follow up with attention, treats, praise. That method might be difficult if he's knocking over your kiddo though.

Good dogs don't jump, you obvi have a defective pooch. Time to rehome.

This. You should turn away from him and cross your arms, if he jumps at your back step away, if he comes to your front to jump keep turning away and ignoring.  As soon as he is good, lots of praise, pets and/or treats.
