We're going to the pedi tomorrow morning. They're concerned that she might have pyloric stenosis. I haven't been on much lately because it's been chaos. We've been battling food allergies and reflux, but her spitting up has gotten progressively worse. Every feeding now we're going through at least 3 bibs and she spits up EVERY single time she burps- like 3 or 4 times a bottle. In the past week she has projectile vomited 3 times- like literally she's in the middle of feeding and she opens her mouth and spews vomit 4 feet out in the air (literally... I measured how far away I had to clean). I'm amazed and how much comes out of her and the force that it shoots up into the air. I was expecting her head to start spinning around it was so disturbing. She's constantly starving and spitting up and they're very concerned now that it's progressed. First it was a wait and see because of her food allergies, but they said that vomiting with that much force shouldn't be from allergies. I feel so bad for her. It's very hard to handle right now, because all of a sudden the pristiq (anti-depressant) just totally stopped working- suddenly, like night and day. So I've started a new one, but everything is so hard to deal with right now.

Re: Can I get some good thoughts for Fiona?
I will be praying for you and sweet Fiona but just wanted to let you know that if it is PS the surgery for it brings immeadiate relief. I know it's a scary thought for her to have surgery but I researched this a lot when my pedi thought D might have had it and everyone said there babies were back to normal the next day and way happier. (D ended up having severe dairy intolerance and her vomitting got better when I stopped eating dairy)
I know you are going through a lot, just know that it will all be okay soon. I will be praying for you!

Thanks everyone. I'll definitely keep you updated. I'm really hoping it's not pyloric stenosis since it means surgery, but at this point I just want them to find SOMETHING so she can feel better. She's just such a quiet little sweetheart, I feel so bad for her.
Erniebufflo- I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this also. I hope you figure Claire's out also.
Poor little girl. Will definitely keep her in my thoughts.
I'm sorry. That sounds awful! I hope you get answers tomorrow. Hang in there Mama!
I hope the appointment goes well and the doctor is able to figure out what is wrong. I also hope your new meds start working and you are able to feel better asap.
