A good OB/Gyn

Does anyone know of a good OB/GYN in the Everett/Mill Creek Area? I just found out that I am pregnant and would love to schedule an appointment but I am unsure where to go. I would like a doctor connected to a hospital or birthing center so my doctor could deliver the baby.

Re: A good OB/Gyn

  • If you actually want your care provider to deliver your baby, you might be better off with a family practice doc or midwife.  Most OBs only deliver babies when they are on call.  It's also probably best to choose where you want to give birth first and then ask for recommendations.  You might need to check with your insurance to see what's covered too.   Here is a good resource to get you started.  https://www.parenttrust.org/uploads/pdf/Webstore/GreatStarts Guide.pdf

  • I've seen dr. orly steinberg at mill creek obgyn for annuals, etc.. for years and really like her and their nurses. She delivers at the hospital in Everett in rotation with other docs. Since I live a lil south of mill creek I ended up switching to a dr. who delivers in Kirkland after I found out I was preg. HTH

  • I loved my OBGYN in Lynnwood/Edmonds. The only reason I quit going is because I live in Bellevue now! Dr. Martha Moe at Sound Womens Care is amazing. She was so supportive and understanding when I went through my miscarriage. She is a wonderful doctor and I would recommend her. She works out of Sound Womens Care and Swedish Edmonds (right across the street on 76th in Edmonds). It's right on the edge of Lynnwood and probably 15 minutes from Mill Creek.

     Good luck! :)

*UPDATE* I just checked her website and she practices out of Edmonds too! :)
