I have used that practice for several years now and really like it. When I was pregnant with my first I decided to opt for a random smattering of mid wives and obgyns because I figured it would be the luck of the draw when the big day came so it may be better to have at least met the person who was to help bring my baby into the world. Suzie Wright delivered my son and was simply amazing although she is a midwife not an OBGYN as you were asking about.
When I got pregnant a bit over a year ago I went back and met with Liz Kettyle who is also a midwife for my first appointments. I had remembered her with my first pregnancy and she is just a dear. Unfortunately we found that the pregnancy did not last and I was then introduced to Dr. Raymond. She was amazing! She was kind and knowledgeable and had a simply wonderful bedside manor.
I just found out that I am pregnant once again and I will certainly be visiting with Dr. Raymond along with some of the midwives I mentioned above.
I have Dr. Patel and Mary Kay Gosney (midwife). I like them both for different reasons. Dr. Patel is great for information and honesty. Mary Kay has had kids and is very compassionate (and still honest too).
Re: HVMA Wellesley OBGYN recs?
Hi there
I have used that practice for several years now and really like it.

Good luck and congratulations.

I've had a great experience there too!
I see a combination of Susie Wright (who is a midwife) and Dr. Fretts. They are both great. (Dr. Fretts is off for July and August, however.)
I've seen Dr. Patel in the past -- she is lovely, but I find that Dr. Fretts's "to-the-point" style is a better fit for me.
