Over half my stash is Kawaii Ultrasoft crossover square tabs. The other diapers are all Kawaii Original crossover square tabs and are working fine. The USs are leaking at the leg and it is driving me insane, I'm thinking I'm going to have to replace them if I don't figure something out soon. I know they are wider than the Originals and the insert seems to not come all the way against the sides within the diaper if that makes sense... like the diaper is wider than the insert so there is a gap on the sides where there is no insert material. I have tried using the inserts from the Originals in the USs but that doesn't seem to help the problem. As of right now, I'm trying adding a BumGenius newborn insert (I think it's technically labeled a doubler?) in with the regular insert to try to bridge that gap at the legs by overlapping them a certain way. But of course that adds bulk and makes for more laundry. Sometimes it even seems that the PUL outer by the legs has turned inward so her pee will be hitting the OUTSIDE of the diaper and of course automatically leaking onto her clothes. Also due to the sheer width of these things. I completely love these diapers otherwise. Any ideas for this awful leaking issue?
BTW she is about 12 1/2 pounds right now if that matters.
