Anyone know? They are cute and seem to make sense, but we are going bumper-less for safety sake, so are these safe? They tie to the bars so they can't come off-but just not sure. Thoughts?
i'm doing something similar for under the sheets, but not a sheet saver. sheets aren't that expensive to begin with so we'll be doing the following:
Matress with complete cover (one that zipps around it), then matress saver pad, then one fitted sheet, then another matress pad thing, then another sheet.
i've heard from a lot of STM's that doing the double sheets with the pad thing between saves time on late night sheet changes

My SIL gave me sheet savers as a gift because she loves them so much but they basically look like a portable changing pad and you just lay them on top of the sheet and lay the baby on top of that little pad. Here is a link to the ones I have.

Two sheets with a pad in the middle does the trick, but honestly I never needed it. DS really never soaked through his diapers. Not all babies are like that, though. So...I'd go with the two sheets with a pad between and then if your baby is soaking through diapers, try a different brand. Most people can find a brand that their baby won't soak through. And every baby is different with every brand.
Those wouldn't have worked for my son, he was a wiggler from birth. lol He was ALL over his crib.
We just did mattress, sheet, waterproof sheet, then another sheet. If I needed to change the sheets in the middle of the night (which was super rare) then I just took off the top sheet and waterproof sheet. It was more for my benefit...I didn't want to deal with sheet changes and washing the mattress at 3am.
I was told that they were the greatest thing ever, so I bought 2. Never used them! DD never spit up and wouldn't soak through her diapers so there wasn't a need.
I can think of 2 times in the last almost 3 years that I have had to do a middle do the night sheet change. It's not a big deal and takes 1 extra minute. I heard its not safe to double up, but it wasn't a research article so who knows.

i got 2 because it sounded like a good idea. they weren't expensive either. i figured if baby is going to soil himself i'd rather it be on something small that's easy to take out of the crib than the whole sheet. maybe it was a waste of money, but i wanted them just to be safe. only time will tell.

Same, i got two but assumed this was a new needed item since i'm a FTM. Maybe they will come in handy, if not, they were cheap!
I have 2 and have found them useful. Mine cover the entire length of the mattress and snap on to the crib railing. I don't see how they could be considered a safety concern. It was much more convenient to unsnap the sheet saver and snap in a fresh one, rather than wrangle with the entire mattress and a new sheet.
Re: Crib sheet savers. Do we need them? Are they safe?
Just like little cloths so that if baby throws up/spits up you dont have to change the whole sheet. I linked to them below
