I don't feel it...

I've been reading posts and it seems that everyone is feeling movement of some kind, but I am not? I'm 18 weeks and 2 days and I have not felt anything :( My doc says that everyone is healthy, but it still worries me. My friend is 3 weeks behind me and she says she feels flutters already. I'm sure all is fine I was just wondering if anyone else was in the same boat??

Re: I don't feel it...

  • I have heard some people have a harder time feeling the baby based on position of placenta and baby. I wouldn't worry.

I still am not sure what i feel most of the time... is it LO, or is it gas?

I don't think you should really worry much yet. At my last appt I told this to my Dr. and he laughed and said soon enough I would know the difference... so for now I wait!

You don't get gas?! You're so lucky!

My doctor told me anything felt below the belly button will be the baby, since the bowels are now pushed up higher.

I really don't. I've been super lucky and didn't have any m/s, gas, etc. Just headaches for like two weeks. And I've only gained 2 pounds! Big Smile Sorry, I had to brag a little...

  • I'm not feeling anything either... or if I am, I'm confused on what it is.  We'll get there soon, I'm sure.

  • I'm not sure if what I'm feeling is the baby or just my stomach gurgling or twitch. I'm ready to know if the baby is moving or not. I go Thursday for an ultrasound to find out the sex and I'm nervous they will say something is wrong with the baby because I can't feel it. But I'm sure its just us being worrying mothers :)
