It's really going to happen..

Just a quick recap since I haven't posted much for a while. I'm moving here from the TTTC board. We are officially adopting. I'm anxious, scared, but so excited at the same time. We finally started telling people at work, friends and family that didn't already know, and everyone seems so excited for us and so supportive. It feels more real now and it's such a relief to not be holding in this secret anymore.

We started our home study and hope to have it completed by the end of August. I can't believe we might be out to birth parents by September! I really hope this process goes smoothly and that it isn't too much of a roller coaster. But I'm trying to prepare for the worst but hope for the best!
