Grrr Contractions

They're coming about every 20 minutes right now, but they're incredibly intense when they hit. I'm not calling my dr yet, but she said any time I have more than 4 in an hour I need to go straight to L& D. I desperately wanted to just one time not have to call and see the doctor before my scheduled appointment for some reason. Grrr.

Do you have the option of laying on your left side?  Drink a whole bunch of water too.  My contractions didn't start like that until about 24 weeks, but they were pretty intense!  

I think you should go in, especially with a twin pregnancy, you shouldn't take anything you feel is not right lightly.

You guys are right. I've been laying on my left side, drinking water all day, and I've been on schedule with my Procardia. I'm experiencing them, it's safest to call. I just had two back to back. It was like this when I went into PTL on Father's Day, occurring very infrequently so I took my time and then by the time we got to the hospital I couldn't walk. I'm calling now, I just pray DH is able to leave work and get here soon.

My PTL started like that around 25 weeks - it is to be overly cautious with a twin pregnancy.

Keep us posted and keep drinking lots of water.
