I have a question...

Hi! I don't have 2u2 yet but I do plan on it. I have a 9 1/2 month old right now that took me 12 months to get pregnant with. However I had just gotten off the shot when we started TTC last time and I know that it can mess with you pretty bad. So my question is how long did it take you to conceive #2? I know it won't tell me how long it will take me but I have heard it usually takes less time to conceive the next babies. So I'm just curious. TIA!

It took two cycles of trying and we started trying after I'd had my cycle back for 2 months. 

My first only took one cycle to conceive.

I got pregnant the my first cycle. I EBF DD and I got my cycle back when she was about 11 months old. I never got my period.

My first was two cycles of trying.  My second was two cycles of not preventing - I think we had sex once during the time of the month that I was fertile when I got pg with DD.

We struggled to conceive DS due mainly to my lack of ovulation ( see siggy). I stopped nursing DS thinking it would take forever to get my body back to what it was. I even had an appointment set up to see my RE in March. I had one period, and the next month I got pregnant with #2.

It took 19 cycles, clomid and IUI to get pg with DS.

For DD, it took one time, 2 weeks after my last nursing session with DS.  I never got a pp period.  We had been planning on going back to the RE in about 3 months.  

With #3 - it took 5 months before I got pg but had a m/c, then another 4 months after the m/c to get pg this time.

It took us quite a while to get pregnant with our son (1.5years and 2m/c's) so our original plan was to start trying for #2 when he was a year old. When he was around 9.5 months old we decided to stop using anything to prevent pregnancy and suprise suprise got pregnant with our daughter the first month "not preventing"! I was in total shock.

My first was a surprise my second took a year and a half on clomid and charting.  Our third I had two cycles and we weren't trying had sex maybe twice and got pregnant.

We were TTA and got a surprise BFP when DD was 9 months old. I was still BFing 5-7x a day but had had my AF for about 5 months already.

I got pg with never having  AF, ebfing, and on the mini pill! Obviously not planned....
