Help with middle name for Wren

So, I need a little help.  We are planning on naming our little girl Wren, but are having trouble with a middle name.  We want something girly sounding since Wren is a unisex name.  I think it should also have at least 2-3 syllables.  Also, our last name rhymes with piano if that helps.  My sister says Elizabeth. While I think it sounds very pretty, it seems to be somewhat of a filler middle name if you know what I mean.  Any opinions/suggestions would be great!  TIA!!

  • I saw your username before clicking on the post and immediately thought "Wren Magnolia."  A bit cheesy with the double nouns, but I think it sounds really pretty.

I think Wren would sound best with a longer middle name ending in an -a sound.  Wren Amelia, Wren Aurelia, etc.

I think a flower type name would go beautifully with Wren - Magnolia (like above), Rose, Violet, Lily etc. Good luck!

  • I like the PP suggestions of Wren Victoria, Wren Violet, and Wren Penelope, but I think I prefer the flow of a MN starting with a vowel such as (my favorites are starred):

Wren Avery* (both are unisex, but I like it!)
    Wren Eleanor
    Wren Adele*
    Wren Isabella
    Wren Eliana
    Wren Olivia*
    Wren Ariella
    Wren Adeline*
    Wren Emmaline*
    Wren Amelia
  • Wren Louise was my first thought.

  • LOVE Wren! My first thought was Wren Lillian. I also think Wren Magnolia is super sweet!

  • I love the name Wren! It was on my short list for girl's names.

  • Wren Amalia.

Since Wren is kinda consonant heavy, I think a middle name starting with a vowel would be nice.

  • Thanks for all the suggestions!  I love the sound of Wren Magnolia, but would it be too weird to have 2 noun names back to back?  I also really like Wren Eliza and Wren Lillian.  Wren Penelope is pretty cute too!

  • I immediately thought Elizabeth, but I see what you mean that it feels like more of a filler than a name you really love. I think it should be something a little longer and feminine.

Wren Violet, Wren Olivia, Wren Isabelle, Wren Victoria, Wren Annabelle, Wren Caroline, Wren Catherine?

  • My DD's name is Wren Elizabeth so of course I love that. It is a family name so it fit for us. My second choice would have been Wren Josephine...we now had a DD named Isla Josephine so I got to use it! :)

So happy to hear about another Wren...we LOVE the name!! :)
