Not sure if I belong here, but I thought I could (hopefully) reach out to you ladies to see if anyone else is or has experienced this. Almost a week ago I started cramping pretty bad and have been bleeding ever since, heavy as a period. Often passing clots. I went to the ER the first day, but they checked me and everything was fine - baby is perfectly fine. They sent me on my way and said not to worry. The bleeding and cramping has been worse since that first day, and has not let up at all. I was back in the hospital again over the weekend and they said the placenta IS low-lying (close to the cervix), whereas before they said it was not. As far as an explanation, all they've really said is the cervix might be irritated (doubt it, there is too much blood..) or the placenta lifted up slightly or shifted position. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or can offer any advice? I'm turning into a nervous wreck, even with them telling me everything is fine and "not to worry". ![]()
TIA
