DD is a very big baby. Under the fat rolls on either side of her neck are raw spots, most likely where spit up has dripped (she has reflux with a lot of spit up). I try to keep these areas clean and dry but they don't seem to be getting any better. Any suggestions? We see the pedi next week for her 2 month appt but I don't want it to get worse by then.
Re: Neosporin ok for 2 month old?
I would call the pedi, how raw is it? could you pat the area with cornstarch so it won't get raw? Make sure you are using a gentle cloth to wipe the formula away after every feeding to keep babys skin dry.

I happened to be at the pediatrician's office when I scratched his face really bad with my ring while getting him out of his carseat. She suggested just to put a dab of neosporin on it, and it cleared up by the next day. He was only 6 weeks at the time....
BUT- that happened to a friend of mine's baby and she did Desitin on it.
