No no no! My 7th grade teacher was Mrs. Pfeiffer so I can only see that as a last name. Some people might mispronounce as well as misspell. It's NMS if you really love it, save it for a middle name.

A couple days ago someone posted that Fiffer would be the next big name for girls, bc of its similarity to Harper and Piper (As sighted by name berry I think). This isn't the first time Pfiffer has come up, it's very much nms and just to much a last name to me (I don't like Piper or Harper either).

Love the name. Like a PP, I had a Mr. Pfeiffer as one of my middle school science teachers. But I do think people would have a had time spelling it, so it would work best as a MN.

There was a post a couple of days ago about the name Fifer, apparently it will be the new Harper and Sawyer. I don't care for it, but there is that spelling too.

I read on the nameberry blog that this is expected to become envogue, replacing "Piper", but they spelled it "Fifer"

Yeah, it was me that posted about Fifer last week after reading about it on the Nameberry blog. I'd never want to use it myself, I can't even get behind Piper...but in a middle name spot because of a family connection I say, "go for it!".

I'd never put Pfeiffer as a FN.
