Baby Names

My top 5 and DH's top 5

DH and I are getting "close" to narrowing down our LO's name.  We have one name in common so in theory it should make it easier but I'd still love to get your thoughts on our names.

My top 5 (in no particular order)

- Victoria, Juliet, Madeline, Claire,  and Charlotte

My DH top 5

- Alyssa, Nicole, Brooke, Riley and Juliet

Thanks so much for your thoughts in advance!

  • Well you both agree on Juliet which I think is lovely.

I also like Victoria but Juliet is my favorite.

  • Since you both agree on Juliet, I'm gonna say that's probably your name. Juliet Claire is lovely!

  • Juliet is a great name!

Overall, I like your name choices better.

Your hubby's are OK, just most of the names he likes (Alyssa, Nicole, and Brooke particularly) sound a little dated.  Riley I just don't care for.

    Good Luck deciding!

  • You only seem to have a top 4, you listed Victoria and Juliet twice. Maybe those are your favorites :)

Juliet's my favorite, too. I like your list better overall. Not a fan of Nicole or Brooke. They feel very 1980s or 1990s to me.

  • Juliet was our second choice with DD1.

I like Juliet paired with either Victoria or Claire.

  • Love Juliet, Claire and Riley.

Brooke and Alyssa are NMS and Nicole is just a boring name for me.

Victoria is a really pretty name.

Charlotte is too popular for me.

    I'm meh on Madeline.

  • If our next baby is a girl she will most likely be Juliette. That's the one name DH and I both love and totally agree on! Juliet gets my vote =) From your lists I also love Madeline, Charlotte, Brooke and Riley. I know 3 Riley's under 2 and 3 Charlotte's under 2 though if popularity matters to you.

I would go with Juliet since you both agree on it but Claire is definitely my favorite. FWIW, I like all the names on your list and none on his beside Juliet.

  • Juliet is lovely and you both like it. I'm also a fan of Claire, since one of my girls is Claire. Madeline is also nice. Not a fan of Alyssa, Nicole, Brooke, or Victoria-- they all feel a little 80s to me.

His names are very dated.  Sound very 80's/90's.  Except for Juliet.

I like all of your names except Madeline.  It's WAY too overused.

Since you both agree on Juliet, why not go with that?

I like Victoria a lot, it's also really lovely.
