Bounce house question fisher price vs big bopper

?? BI want to purchase an inflatable bounce house for my boys (ds1 is 4 and ds2 is 15 months). I figure it will be good for ODS who is on the autism spectrum and loves the sensory input from bouncing and I love the energy output from bouncing :). YDS isn't far from the day when he will get a kick and a half from it too, I'm sure he will enjoy some gentle bouncing in there right now.

?? ? I plan to set it up on our deck which is 13 feet by about 40feet. Or in our grassy side yard which is plenty big for either. ?We live in Southern California so I am not super concerned about needing to blow it up inside for the winter. ?

?? I keep going back and forth between these two- does anyone have some input that will tip the scales? ?I like that the fisher price one has more bouncing area and can accommodate 180 lbs of jumpers- so when our twin neighbors come over evyone can bounce together whereas the big bopper says "2 jumpers" that kind of bites! ?

. Dh thinks smaller is better (less liability in his mind lol). The big bopper one kind of looks like better quality somehow and I don't like how the kids in the fisher price are practically jumping out of it. ?It claims to be 8 ft high but that must be from the ground up and not the bounce surface up. ?I guess still they arent actually going to bounce out. ?I think i saw this at a playdate and it seemed solid and reasonable. ?I can use sand bags to secure it on the deck and stakes on the grass. ?I think with any of these products you have to be preparded to do some patching on a regular basis. ?Experience anyone?

Re: Bounce house question fisher price vs big bopper

  • Well it would fit....I saw the ones with the slide and wdnered if it would hurt sliding not a wood deck and if the slide takes up a bunch of space that could be used for bouncing area. We have a traditional play set slide so I wondered if he would care about the bouncy slide- is it different being on a bounce slide. I have to admit this one looks like great fun and I love that you can have more people in there. We are going to set it up for his birthday party (this is his gift from my parents- they told me to just pick whichever one we want).
