From what i was told from my boss you have to use 40 hours PTO at beginning, then can use STD for 5 weeks then the final 6 weeks are either PTO or unpaid.nbsp; She also said during open enrollment you can buy more PTO if youd like.nbsp; Hope this helps :
This. And also that the actual rule is that you HAVE to use all you PTO before you can go unpaid. When I was on ML with DS, I asked to not be paid after 6 weeks, and my boss just didn't submit my PTO when she did payroll, so check with whoever does your payroll. Definitely buy during open enrollment in November, or when your LO is born.
