Tomorrow..

Tomorrow I have my recheck after my d&c last week. I'm having really hard time bc tomorrow would have been my regular 16 week check up and ultra sound and there could have been a chance to find out the sex.. So instead of a happy appointment it's a very sad appointment and I just don't know how to handle it..

Oh derika, I'm sorry.  That's a hard place to be at.  I don't have a lot of good advice, but I can say that it's okay to cry at your visit tomorrow.  I certainly did at my follow up visit today.

If you can, leave yourself a bit of extra time after your appointment and do something small to treat yourself - get a fancy coffee drink and go to your favorite spot to drink it, meet someone for lunch, or something else to be nice to yourself.

And carry our hugs and our thoughts with you tomorrow.

big hugs to you.  i was in the same boat last week.  was supposed to have my first ultrasound, instead i was staring at an empty womb.

definitely do something nice for yourself afterwards!

what's helping me is trying to focus on the future and staying strong and healthy for future pregnancies.  i've been wanting to indulge in sugary treats (i don't do sugar but have been having a pity party lately) so instead i refocus on something positive.  hope that makes sense.
