post c-section bleeding

I had a c-section 8 days ago. I'm still bleeding bright red, although it's getting slightly darker in color. I only bleed about a teaspoon to a tablespoon the most onto a pad within a couple to few hours. The most has been a small layer of blood over my entire pad when I wake up from a few hours of sleep. Is that normal or too much bleeding? The bleeding is at its worst right after I breastfeed and I assume that's from my uterus contracting.

Sounds really normal to me.

Normal. I bled pretty heavily for about two weeks, and then lightly for another two.

I think that's normal.  Mine was heavy for several weeks (though perhaps some of that was from twins) and the dr. wasn't concerned.
