Hello, I've been lurking here for the past few months while waiting for my DH to get used to the idea that we will not be having bio kids. We had been in treatment for IF for the past 5 years and after my last failed IVF we decided adoption was the path we needed to be on. I hope you all will allow me to join you here, I've already learned so much just from lurking
Anyways, we have started looking at agencies and trying to figure out where our heart is leading us!
Re: Decided to adopt to complete our family
After 5.5 years of loss, heartbreak, and empty arms, our dreams were fulfilled through the beautiful, selfless gift of adoption. We are amazingly blessed!

Thank you!! Now that the decisions been made, we are both very.... Hopeful; which is something I haven't felt in years!
We are leaning towards domestic adoption, however I personally would live to adopt international my husband isn't on board with that at this point.
Hi Christy!
Me too! We sound very similar - however after 3 failed IVF and a failed FET I refuse to give up trying for a biological baby. I'm in denial....but I also have terrible egg quality, and moderate Endo. We have another IVF cycle planned for Oct.
We too are starting to research agencies and planning for a home study to begin. If we are lucky with a pregnancy it won't stop our adoption journey, just add to our blessings.
So far everyone has been great here, so welcome and let's keep tabs on eachother, we have a lot in common. Good luck!!
Welcome to the board.
Thank you! Yes, I always thought I would keep going until it was successful. But after how bad my body responded to the IVF my DH and I decided that adoption is next on our path. I personally always wanted to adopt but I always thought I would have biological children first, but that wasn't in the cards for us.
Thank you for the welcome!
