I just got the Joovy Scooter X2 and I love it. It was affordable and it has been fine for our walks around the neighborhood/in the mall. (I do not jog with it, of course.)
As for sizing, I have a van, so I'm no help, but I did just have a Nissan Altima and I don't think it would have any problem fitting in the trunk (especially without other things in there). However, you would probably want to see if you can try that out on your own.
I have a Joovy Scooter x2 and I am very happy with it, especially for the price. The basket is HUGE and fits tons of stuff, it is easy to fold, not too heavy to get into and out of the car by myself and it fits just fine in the trunk of my Kia Spectra. I do not use the bar on the front because it doesn't have a tray and it makes it a little tougher to maneuver into the trunk. The thing I like least about it is that I need to take the baby out of her bucket seat and so I am waking her up and she isn't that good about dozing back off, but its a minor inconvenience. There is a good video review on youtube, too.
