To those who posted about evals

I just wanted to say good luck with all!  And, I hope this decrease some stress.  I was always on the other end- giving clients referrals for evals after their injury, and now I am on the other side.  It is much harder, and I definitely feel empathy for those I work with now.

Just wanted to say I hope that the eval experience is positive, and you can move on to the next steps!

  • Thank you, the evals are coming at the exact right time, I am so lost and desperate right now.

I've learned that I can't say that I understand, but I can say that I hope the best happens!  We just had a feeding eval last week, and I am happy that the therapist feels positive about helping, it just seems like it will be an LLLLLOOOOOOONNNNGGGGG  road ahead.  Oh well; good things are worth working for!

    GL again!

  • I went through evaluations with my daughter. I am so thankful that I now know what makes her a little different from average. I would have gone insane by now without those answers.

My job now is to perform occupational evaluations for vulnerable adults, all my clients are high functioning but knowing how they think and how they can work helps me give a better evaluation of what they can do in the competitive work community.

I hope your answers come soon, but they will come and you will feel some relief, but then you will embark on a new journey. The, what do I do now... But you will do just fine :)

  • How very sweet of you!

I think it is all the waiting that is driving me crazy desperate and how I want DS to be understood and helped.
