Formula

For those of you that use formula, what kind do you use?  Is it powder or liquid?  We used powder when DD was just a few weeks old, and she seemed to be choking on it.  I don't know if it was the actual formula, or she was just having trouble swallowing because she was premature.  Since then I've switched to liquid.  But, the nurse at the dr. told me powder was easier on their stomachs.  I don't know why.  Are you happy with your formula?

Wal mart brand of the similac advance powder. She doesn't have a problem with it.

I use Similac Advance. At first I used the ready to feed newborn bottles. I used those exclusively for the first couple of weeks. Mostly because I was overwhelmed and it made things easier for me.

Now I use the powder. I'm happy with it & my DS had no problem transitioning from the liquid to the powder. The powder is cheaper which is a big plus.

We have to supplement w/ formula and use powder at home. For the diaper bag, we have the liquid bottles.

Similac advance powder when I feel lazy and rich we use ready to feed.

Enfamil gentlease.  DS has had a hard time with anything other than enfamil and with the other enfamils he gets really gassy and struggles at passing the gas.
