Stumbled upon an old movie The Last Unicorn with my kids (haha remember that one?!) and the prince is named Lir (Leer) 

Why is the spelling messing me up? It looks like lair too me but I like the sound of Leer Would you spell it Lir? I love 3 letter names so adding this to the list!

I'm sorry, but I really dislike it. That said, there is a character in the Wicked books named Liir, pronounced the same way.

It is an Irish name, and from one of my very favorite fairy tales- "The Children of Lir." As much as I love it, I think people would have problems with the pronunciation.
