Como Zoo question

It's been over 10 years since I've been to Como Zoo and I understand it has changed a bit.  Do you think Como Zoo is a fun place for a 1 year old or is she still too young to enjoy it?  Is it pretty busy on weekends?  Would it be better to do during the week with a younger LO?  What do you think?

My DD liked it at a year.  She loved the monkeys, they come right up to the glass.  It is hard to go on the weekend, it is really busy.  I like to go during the week and let her run now.

We took DD to the MN zoo on her 1st bday and she has a blast. I think Como would be great. I just took DD a couple weeks ago, but she's approaching 2. She had a great time. I am not sure about how crowded it is on weekends. I took DD on a Friday late afternoon.

Very crowded on the weekends especially in summer. I'd go during the week or on a fall weekend. Totally worth it IMO, and one year old is not too young to enjoy it!

I took my toddler on Monday, and he loved it!  They have a splash pad by the play area, where we spent most of our time.  It was too hot to walk around the animal exhibits.
