Britax B-Agile Stroller

Has anyone used this stroller?  If so, can you tell me about the pro's and con's you've experienced with it?  Also we already have an infant car seat which I was planning on using along with the attachment.  Is it difficult to use with a non Britax infant seat?

 Thanks ladies!

Re: Britax B-Agile Stroller

  • I bought it but as a travel system with the carseat. It's really lightweight and easy to close. I haven't used it yet but I was sold just on that.

  • I'm glad you think it's easy to use and lightweight, thats exactly what I've been looking for.  I was concerned because when I bought a stroller for my son I probably bought the most difficult and heavy stroller on the market and I was very unhappy for with it.

I may still buy the Britax infant seat to go along with it, but I just wanted to see if it's more difficult to use with an off brand car seat which we already have.  After all we can always use the one we have for my husbands car!

     Ahhh, decisions, decisions!!!

  • I haven't used either, and haven't bought my system yet. However, after TONS of weighing this vs. that and going back and forth between a City Mini with a Chicco Keyfit 30 or a Britax B Agile and B Safe car seat, I decided to go with the Britax pair. The ease of use with the car seat sold me. There are things I really like about the CM that I wish the Britax had, but bottom line is that the car seat compatibility means more to me. It's actually the thing on my registry that I'm most looking forward to! I've been itching to remove it from the registry and buy it myself so I can play with it now. lol

(Also, and I don't know if this will matter to you, but the Britax sale is going on through 7/31, so if you buy the B Ready, you can choose a free item. I also seriously considered this, but decided against.)

Oh, I think I saw something about that sale!  What if some one buys it off my registry for me?  Do you think I can go into the store and get the free item?  Hrm, that way we could have the matching infant seat!

  • i just started using mine with my 2 yr old last week and i really love it!  so lightweight, pushes so smoothly, and nice and compact in the trunk of my car.  i cannnot comment on ease of use with an infant seat b/c i do not have an adapter bar.

  • I heard Britax & Chicco were the best brands for that price range. I went for the Chicco Gemini, but at the Car-seat Safety class they also recommend the Britax. I don't think you could go wrong either way.

  • Thanks ladies, all your comments are very helpful!  I think this is the stroller I will be going with and I think I'm going to go with the Britax infant seat as well and use the infant seat we already have for my husbands car!
