Well, we all knew this weekend would be super fun. Fortunately, it's only two more days. I can avoid the two huge Laboradors they brought with them. I totally can. Even though their smell makes me nauseous. They're sweet dogs anyway.

The cat (the outside cat, that I keep asking them to keep outside because God knows what that poor thing could bring in and affect the baby) was yowling in what sounded like severe pain. DH said, "Could you please stop that? He never yowls like that, [BIL]."

"I know him better than you do, I've spent more time with him than you do. He does this all the time."

"Yeah, because you're holding him upside down, you moron." (DH is normally VERY laid back--- so for him to say something like that means that he's really starting to feel it all.)

I could see where this was going, so I said, "He really doesn't yowl like that most of the time." Truth.

BIL was starting to say something to me, and was quieted by his wife. I suspect that I'm in the first stages of labor (back pain, fluey without the fever, and belly tightness along with lightening crotch), so I honestly don't think I can be held responsible for anything I say... but that's me. If he gets offended, it's his own damn fault. We warned him.

Nearly through... Well done on getting as far through as you have so far. Is it bad that I think "maybe if there's a big enough disagreement the horrible people will clear out faster"?

No, it's not bad at all. And TBH if I didn't have TB to vent to I think I would have gone insane long before this.

I just keep looking at BIL and repeating to myself: "Prison orange is not your color. Prison orange is not your color. Prison orange is not your color!"
