So it's gonna be like 103 here in Jersey, but gonna feel like 110. I don't feel like dealing with the crowds at the waterpark so I think were gonna go to the discovery museum after nap this afternoon. What's your plans?
I'm going to the pool with one of my friends while H figures out what to do with her. Win, win. I think he is going to take her for a stroll at the Art Museum for a bit. Not sure if she will really want to hang in the stroller, but it is free and only five minutes from our house. Worth a shot.
We moved two weeks ago, so we'll be unpacking the last of the boxes and finally hanging stuff on the walls. Grocery store later because SIL is coming for dinner (this is a good thing, I like this SIL lol!). Otherwise not leaving the central air because I'm in Jersey too and I don't do outside in this heat.
DH is working, so Evangeline and I will be spending the day inside with our a/c. The heat index is 110 today and the a/c in my car broke, so I don't really have any other options.

DH has a work outing at the horse track today and the tent is outside. I'm pretty sure we'll be there for a total of 10 minutes before I say screw it and take DS to the mall to cool off while DH socializes.
I was planning on going to a friend's house to see her new baby and let DD play with her older DD. But she's not home so I'm waiting for her to call back. Either way I'm staying inside in the A/C as much as possible.
Tonight we're going out to dinner for FSIL's birthday.
Sweating our assses off in our non a/c apt. But it's only 90 here.
You poor thing:(. You know it was really hot when we can say it's "only" 90.
Exactly!
I am lucky enough to be able to take DS to my parents' pool after he wakes up from his nap. I feel bad for DH, though, because he is in a memorial golf outing today that started at 10am. Ugh!
We've been up in the 100s all week, but today is only supposed to be 91! I may put on a parka...
Actually, our little town is having a 4th of July celebration, so later we're going to go to the parade, and then see the fireworks tonight. Hopefully we don't melt!
105 heat index and ridiculous humidity here in NC. We played outside after breakfast for an hour. DD was worn out and has been napping for 2 hours.
I ran on my treadmill for an hour. DH went to Lowe's and is installing our new kitchen floor. When DD wakes up we're going to play inside. Not much else to do around here and we're not in the mood for the beach. It's just too hot.
104 here, not counting the heat index. We're staying inside... I'll do laundry and vaccuum, DH is hanging blinds. We'll also be watching a lot of TV. Fun times.
I think we stole all the cool weather! Up until now it's been in the 60's and raining (which totally not normal, we're usually dry), but we're finally going to be in the mid to high 80's. I'm taking advantage of the nice weather and staying outside.
I used to spend my summers working outside in 95+ heat, in corn fields for 10 hours or more a day, so my sympathies to all you trying to beat the heat, especially without a/c
Going to Busch Gardens so DD can run around the splash pads in the Sesame Street area. High is in the 90's but we're not going til after 3 or 4 since they're open til 10. Hopefully it will have dropped to the 80's by then, right?
Re: what are you doing in this heat today?
Forecast says it'll be 100? today in Pa. I did even look at the heat index.
But my answer is hiding inside all day.
