Happy birthday!  I have a bread maker, I have never used it. I don't even know how it works.  That's lame. Using one and being excited about it is cool!  Can I come over for bread?

I read my manual this morning. The entire thing. I've been wanting a bread maker for ages because kneading dough by hand takes the fun out of making bread.

I'm not a cook. I'm a baker, baking is fun.

DH is the cook which is why I bought him a pressure cooker for Father's Day. He was equally excited about that as I am about a bread maker. I'd say we're pretty even for lameness.

Yum!  Lucky!  I should probably get a bread maker at some point since we eat a lot of bread and the few times I've tried to make it, they come out as hard gross lumps that even my H won't eat.  Sigh.

I plan to ask for one for my birthday at the end of the month!

DS has a recently discovered peanut allergy... I will feel a lot more comfortable making my own breads, since bakeries are basically out of the question now. So I'm just feeling jealous of you right now.
