Does it have a velcro strap? The only hat that we have for DD is a white floppy hat that has a chin strap. She'll try and pull it off a couple of times and I have to remind her not to do that but she'll wear it just fine.
DD used to always take off her hats. I used to sew an elastic strap that sat under her chin to keep it on and it helped a lot. I never had the problem with DS#1 and so far so good with DS#2. If you can get hats with a velcro strap that often is helpful as well.
Thanks Ladies! I guess I just need to be more persistent with it and hopefully he'll just get use to it! He knows how to rip off the velcro so maybe ill try an elastic one as well.

Ugh DD will only wear a hat if distracted by something else (I got her to wear at beach the other day only because she was too busy playing to notice it). Most times I just slather sunscreen and try to stay in shade. I wish she tolerated like a see other LOs.
Scarlett is a pro at removing hats no matter what obsitcals I put in her way. However I did recently discover baby safe powder sunblock. It is amazing no more sticky hair!
Re: Hat help?!
Interesting! Where did you get it?
Thanks!
