Ok, so the movie Heathers was mentioned a while back, and when I stumbled upon it on Netflix, I had to watch it.
That is one of the best movies ever, in a grotesque, uncomfortable kind of way. I really enjoyed it.
Winona Ryder, the chick who plays Veronica, is also in another movie I watched recently. It was called Girl, Interrupted.
It is another of those movies that makes you a little uncomfortable.
Ever saw it?
It also reminded me of The Virgin Suicides.
Ever watched that one?
Older movies like that are so much better than crap filmed today.
Also, I watched The Crucible last night, in which Winona Ryder also stars.
She's probably my favorite actress ever now. Lots of talent.
Also, she dated Johnny Depp for a while.
Somebody read my mind and find me more movies I'll love!!
Re: [appropriate title]
ok, i didn't want to be an ass, but this was really just one of the most random posts ever. I'm glad I'm not alone in that. This is SOOOO 20 years ago. I mean, have you seen Edward Scissorhands?
lol
I feel so old that Girl Interrupted is considered an old movie.
Never heard of it. I'll have to try it out. I love a good fictional movie. What is a "Titanic" exactly?
CORN NUTS!
PEPPERMINT ***!
Uh, wait, what? Oh.
Ditto Empire Records. My fave of all time.
(my sister and I will shout out peppermint *** at the most awkward times, it's an inside joke).
ETA: damn bump censoring d!ck

She is a great actress but she is a shiity shoplifter.
That one's good too.
Remember that time Christina Ricci dated that ghost that turned out to be
SPOILER ALERT
Devon Sawa?
Wait..
Remember Devon Sawa?
Devon Sawa is on Nikita now /random
MRebecca I'd tell you to watch Now and Then and pause it when Devon Sawa bends down in his towel but that's only acceptable when you're 13-years-old. Doing it now would make you a pedophile.
this movie is part of my London confusion. Jeremy, Jason, which one is which? Why can't I keep them straight? One is hotter, I think? And I could use imdb, but why-let me put it to you all. Mallrats-which? Dazed and Confused-which?
I get it now.
Ya'll's era rocked.
Groovy.
whaaaaaaaa?
Now you've gone too far.
Are you under the impression everyone else here is pushing 65?
*head desk*
It's a joke, yall are not really that old.
Fun Fact: Jokes are supposed to be funny.
Lucas makes me cry. I love Corey Haim in that movie.
ps. I just googled him because I hadn't heard anything of him in awhile. I also just found out he is deceased. WTF. I had a mad crush on him as a kid. Then he got all strung out. Now apparently he is dead.
sucks.
lolyshit!
God, me too!
But Angelina was what, 22 in that? Now she's... 40?
Seriously though. My oldest sister is turning 40 in October. She's not old.
And my mom was born in 1952. She's not old either.
Betamax?
"Older movies".
You shut your dirty mouth.
I saw Heathers IN THE THEATRE.
Recommendations: Any 1980s John Hughes movie.
Also, any book by S.E. Hinton that was made into a movie. (Outsiders, TEX, Rumble Fish, etc.)
its newer but based off of a book
"We Need to Talk About Kyle"
wow... its... wow. Oh and its one of those that makes you think and debate with yourself. Its very dark and deals with a lot of death.

This! Holy f'uck, I'm old!
True Story: I saw the other Corey this past weekend. He was doing a Goonie's panel, smoking a fake cigarette, and winking at me (i was front row). He was wearing a Michael Jackson jacket and had one piece of long hair hanging over his eye, just like when he was 16. it was unfortunate. i can say he IS interesting.
In all fairness, the "other" Corey was in Stand By Me, which is an awesome movie!
