'just put DD to bed with headphones on...

Damn fireworks should end at 8 for all the babies sake! I hope DD focuses on the music and gets her beauty rest. how are your neighborhood fireworks activites?

    They've been pretty active all week but tonight... nothing. Pretty strange, although today was the hottest day of the week so far (over 100) and it's still 88 and muggy out, so I'm guessing some people are suffering from lack of motivation. That kind of stuff doesn't wake DS anyway, thank goodness. Once he's out, he's out.

    It's been hell since they've loosened Michigan fireworks laws.  All week long they've been going off, but last night was insanity.  I almost called the cops because it was after 11 and they were going off right above my house from the next door neighbor.  I wouldn't call, but so wanted to make them stop before they woke the baby up.  Not to mention, I get up multi times a night with her, so going to bed early is crucial. 

    Ugh.  So glad it's over.
