Fifer.
I just read a few articles on name websites and blogs after coming across this name on Nameberry and googling it.
A few blogs and sites predict that it follows in Harper and Piper's footsteps and will start to gain popularity with parents looking for an alternative.
The more I let it sink in, the more I don't mind it.
WDYT? Do you think it will catch on eventually?
Re: Alternative to Piper & Harper gaining popularity in the next few years?
Hmm it does kinda grow on me but......
I think Harper is popular due to celebs. So, not sure it would go anywhere without a similar boost.
This exactly!

No, no, I just don't know if I could take someone named Fifer seriously. It sounds so silly to me.

I agree. It just sounds silly.
This. To me it sounds more like a name for a puppy.
I was chatting with my husband on the phone over his lunch break about this and he said "that sounds like a cool name." I just thought I should add this to be fair.
Thanks for the feedback ladies!
It's definitely not a name I'd seriously consider using (I can't even wrap my mind around Piper) but it's interesting to think about names that wouldn't even be considered now, one day being on the charts. Maybe this one never will be...who knows.
