James Michael is finally here!

After being post date 4 days he is here! Started having contractions Monday morning for over an hour every 4-5 minutes. Got to the hospital and after 3 hours of trying to determine if I would stay or not...they decided to keep me. My labor and contractions had come to a stand still once I was 4cm. Contrary to what I thought would happen, the doctor decided to break my water and have a small dose of pitocin. After violent contractions and trying to do it "natural" without medication for four hours, I got an epidural. James was born 8 hours later! We came home today, July 4th!
