Courageous

Watched this movie today. Cried the entire time. My DH and I feel enlightened. What a phenomenal movie and what truth. I do want to say that for single mothers, I feel any man in a child's life could fill this role, a grandfather, uncle, mentor, teacher, etc. I could only hope my husband can guide and direct Lucas to become a respectful and courageous man.

  • My cousins church made that movie, LOVE it! FireProof is also a great film if you haven't seen that one. DH read the resolution book after seeing the movie and we have it hanging in our home.

    This is from the website:

Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, David Thomson, and Shane Fuller are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood.

While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as dads. But they're quickly discovering that their standard is missing the mark. When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God ... and to their children?

  • I loved this movie also. It was one of the only movies that has ever made me cry. It's another thing that makes you realize just how precious life is!

  • DH and I watched this one a while back.  We loved it.  We also liked fireproof.  I wish they made more movies like these.
