Where are you going to see fireworks tonight?

We are looking for somewhere easy and quick to get to from N. St. Paul to go see fireworks.  We used to go to Mounds Park in St. Paul, but 2 years ago you could barely see them and you couldn't hear them.  Last year we went to Central Park in Roseville, but I wasn't impressed.  We're looking for somewhere new.

We went to Bloomington's fireworks last night...really not impressed with the 15 minute late start. We're debating going to Apple Valley or Excelsior tonight. DH wants to go to Excelsior because the MN Orchestra plays live at 8 pm and it's broadcasted on MPR. The fireworks in Excelsior are also great because they are shot over Lake Minnetonka.

We ended up watching them in Stillwater and they were great!
