Very disappointed...

I recently joined this board and have to say that I am very disappointed.  I was initially very pleased to see that there is PPD support here on The Bump, but I have received no responses to my board posts, reaching out to others (although many have read my posts).  I thought the point of this board was to be supportive of one another, as with the other boards, but am very disappointed to find that this is not really the case here.  Am I the only one who feels this way?

You're definitly not the only one that feels this way. I keep checking back on my post very frequently..but to no avail. I keep coming back to nothing, and I'm really disappointed as well. It sucks.

I have felt that way as well when I have posted here before in the past and it's kind of sad.  I think it is the nature of the beast though.  I know for me, sometimes when I lurk on this board, I will read the posts, sympathize, but it's hard for me to reach out, just as it is hard for me to even make my own post.  It's hard for me to get out of the house, to get motivated to do anything INSIDE the house, etc.  It's just the nature of depression.  Maybe other people feel that way too.  I'm sorry you aren't getting the support you need though.  I have noticed that a lot of posts don't have any replies and that's unfortunate

Don't take it personally. There are plenty of us who know where you're coming from and can sympathize. I know that right now life is hectic and I don't get to the bump as often as I'd like.

I come to this board, leave a flurry of posts, no one responds, and I drift away for a month or two.  I decided to come back tonight andleave another flurry of posts, and now I will bump up your thread too.

I would tend to agree with this. There are just a lot of days where I don't even think to come here.
