How I got rid of THE rash--Grandma El's love

I owe it all to Grandma El's! If anyone out there is struggling with diaper rash, this product gave me my sanity back--it's amazing!!!

I'm guessing it's the lanolin.  I had tried everything--Triple Paste, Desitin, Burt's Bees, Earth Mama Angel Baby, hydrocortisone, lotrimin (turns out it wasn't yeast, though nurse and pedi's kept wanting me to treat it like yeast).  And finally I tried Grandma El's.

Freakin' awesome, so if you're thinking about getting it, just do it. :)

I love this stuff, too. If DS ever seems a little red, I put some on and it's usually gone in a few hours.

I also put some on my dry hands....worked wonders. I love this stuff!

  • Good to know!  I've been wanting to try it.

Right now I just got a jar of *The* Balm though -- seriously loving it.  Such good ingredients!  So I may not switch for a while. :)

Is it better than CJs? I was going to try Grandma Els but I'm afraid to switch w Ls sensitive skin.

Haven't tried CJs, but DD has ridiculously sensitive skin.  She even reacted to coconut oil.  And yet GE solved her skin issues.

  • I'm glad you found something that works!

I tried it on DD once recently, and she got a rash from it in the maybe 2 hours before her next diaper change. Sad

Oh no!  I guess it's not quite a miracle worker after all!  Amazing how every tush is so different!

  • Glad to hear a positive review! We have a $25 gift card to BRU and I wasn't sure what to spend it on, and since this stuff is the only CD friendly cream they carry, I put it on the list. It'll be the first cream we try.

I know!  Oh well.  It's always a nice feeling when you finally find something that works for your LO though!

I used CJs and switched to Grandma El's and was much happier with the results. I also like that Grandma El's doesn't have a scent.

  • I second this! I have tried almost everything on my rash prone DD, and Grandma El's is one of the only creams that actually heals her rash.
