If you know Destin, FL...need some tips!

Hi there! Headed there this month & trying to organize!

1. I like to take a list of nearest urgent care/hospitals & found the nearest urgent care in our insurance network but wanted to make sure--- is the nearest hospital Sacred Heart Emerald Coast in Miramar?

2. Great fun & yummy family friendly dining options? We will be in Crystal Beach if that helps.

3. Great date night dining options?

4. Great rainy day activities with two 3 yr olds?

5. Any other fun things to recommend?

I love destin we go every year!

Im not sure about the hospital

Family friendly dinning : Pompano Joes, The Back Pourch, Fud Puckers (they have alligators and fun stuff for kids) Date night definitely go to Bay Towne Wharf. Its awesome! There are 7-8 restaurants in this little community they have live music and some cute shops you can also bring the kids there they would have fun too. Also check out The Harbor Village again great restaurants. There they offer dolphin cruises and other cool activities.

For shopping there are the outlets and then the mall area where bass pro shops and a bunch of other stores are located.

If it rains their movie theater is nice.

This is the first time I have ever posted on here but this subject is something I know all about! I work for Sacred Heart. Great hospital! My LO was born there!

I actually live in Panama City Beach, about 30 minutes away. Lots of great restaurants to try. You should head east into South Walton and for sure visit Baytowne which is in Sandestin. Plenty to choose from. I have a cousin that runs a dolphin cruise out of there. They have a new arcade also. You can travel down scenic Hwy 30A and find lots of wonderful restaurants. Bud&Alley's. the Red Bar, Goatfeathers, Local Catch.

In Destin there of course is the beach and Big Kahuna's waterpark. Typical shopping at the Silver Sands outlet mall and then the Destin Commons. Thats where the movie theater is also.

A new pirate ship called The Buccaneer (i think) just came into the harbor. Would be a blast for kids! Deep sea fishing is also a great way to take up a day!
