Hi ladies! I pop in from time to time, as life allows, but I thought I should reintroduce myself. I am a SAHM to DD1, who is 17 months old. I am due with DD2 in 2 1/2 weeks. Although I am pretty miserable at this point (hello kankles) so I wouldn't be upset if I went earlier. Rounding out the family are my great H and my pooch, an English Mastiff who is basically a 135 pound hug.
Now to the issue at hand - what should I name my daughter?! We have a short list but I don't think my H is convinced of any of the names. We are drawn to either non-traditional or old lady names. Sort of both ends of the spectrum. DD1 is named Quinn.
The names that we have so far are:
Violet (my favorite), Amelia, Piper, Alice
Please give me some more suggestions and/or let me know your favorite from our list. I feel like I have been on every website and can't get inspired. Time is running out!
TIA
Re: Baby girl names - Help!
I like Amelia most from your list.
A few favorites from my girl list from 2 years ago are
Isla, Stella, Audrey, Finley
Piper is NMS, but I LOVE the others! Amelia is probably my favorite.
I really dig double names, so if I ever have another girl her name would probably be Mary Eleanor, and we'd call her Mary Nell.
Other girl names on my list are Frances (Francie), Margaret, Louise, Anne, and Lucille (Lulu)
Yes!!

Thanks ladies. I have been toying with Vivienne. I love Finley but it wouldn't work with Quinn since the obvious nickname is Finn. A bit too matchy matchy for me. Scout - I also love the name Betsy!
I know that we won't pull the trigger until after she is born and meet her. Agh! The waiting is killing me at this point!
